End of Nations Receives Good News, Trion Worlds Takes Over Development
Good news for End of Nations, the game is seemingly not dead! After a couple of very rough weeks for the MMORTS that culminated in the open beta being postponed indefinitely and lay-offs at EoN development studio Petroglyph, it appears as though Trion Worlds will be taking over the reigns to finish development.
Trion Worlds was originally just the publisher of EoN, but community manager Lance James recently revealed on the official forums that "As End of Nations was reaching the pre-launch phase in its lifecycle, we officially brought the game development in house to Trion Worlds and will complete the development internally.”"
While this is good news for fans of the upcoming RTS, it brings up even more questions as to the future of Petroglyph who are now seemingly no longer involved with their current flagship title. Check out our F2P cast above where we discuss End of Nation's future.
