Elyon Producer’s Letter Video Offers A Look At What’s To Come In 2022
The video expands on the content revealed during the first ever Kakao Now stream.
Following the first-ever Kakao Now stream, where they revealed a lot about their plans for Elyon, the Kakao team has posted a video letter from the game’s Producer Yunseok Kang. In the video, he offers a closer look at what players can expect in the near future. This makes sense as the letter is also a roadmap for their 2022 plans.
A lot of this was covered in their post on the game’s site – and therefore in this article on our site – but there does appear to be a bit of stuff here we didn’t go over, or in some cases, they expanded on the information. Of course, there’s the addition of actual video of the content being discussed as well.
One of the things that didn’t get a big look is the “Mega Manamechs”. These are actually mechs that players will build to use in a new type of battle content. The mechs are used to siege castles (or protect them), but there is a catch. They are slow and, as a result, are easily damaged. Players won’t just be able to ride them into a castle and win. They’ll need to be on the ground protecting their main chance of breaking through the barriers.
In addition to that and the content already revealed, the stream also addresses some of the more quality of life things. This includes an inventory rework, progression improvements, and the eventual addition of controller support.
