Elyon Delays Client Pre-Download and Character Creation, But Head Start Is Still On Target
The delay is currently expected to be 48 hours but that could change.
Kakao Games announced today that due to an unexpected “backend platform issue” they would be delaying pre-download and character creation for their upcoming free-to-playMMORPG Elyon. According to the tweet posted this morning, the issue was discovered over the weekend and they’re working to resolve it as quickly as possible so they can submit the build to Steam for approval. They’re expecting the process to take about 48 hours, but do say it could be longer.
Pre-download was scheduled to be available today and character creation would have begun on October 13. This delay means that it will be at least the 13th before players can begin pre-downloading and potentially October 15th before they can begin creating characters. At the moment, it seems the issue won’t impact headstart or the game’s official launch. Those are expected to take place on the 17th and 20th, respectively.
