Elodie Games Drops New Trailer For Its Non-FPS Extraction Game Seekers Of Skyveil
Find out more about the extraction game for fans of magic.
It’s been a while since Elodie Games announced Seekers of Skyveil, a fantasy extraction game. Now they’re ready to show us more and have released a gameplay description trailer. The trailer introduces some of the dev team and details the game which they describe as “a hero-based extraction game with a little bit of RPG elements and MOBA-inspired gameplay”. Yes, it does look like what you’d see in a MOBA – which makes sense as some of Elodie’s devs were once Riot staff.
The focus of the game is treasure hunting. Players are dropped in maps with the goal of finding treasure and escaping with it. When on the map, players will see indications of other teams. It’s possible to follow their trail and take them out, stealing their gear at the same time. The more players do, the more difficult things become. The good news is that they keep some of their gear and experience and eventually face the biggest bosses.
Currently, the game is still in its early stages – more or less closed alpha. Every few weeks the team tests with players and they’re inviting more. Signups for the playtest can be found on the game’s Steam page.

When was the last time Hearthstone did a cinematic trailer? I'm glad they seem to be back.

It might look a little weird and muddle things a bit, but players seem to be enjoying it.

It's something to do, I guess.
