Elder Scrolls Online Players Get A Scaly New Pet As Apology For Stability Issues
The Firesong PC/Mac launch was rougher than expected.
Things haven’t gone perfectly with The Elder Scrolls Online’s Firesong launch for PC and Mac. The whole thing wasn’t as stable as Zenimax or players might have hoped. In fact, a few days ago, Creative Director Rich Lambert dropped a post on the forums apologizing for the issues, stating “we dropped the ball – no excuses, we will do better in the future.” At the same time, he also announced an incremental patch that would bring fixes for the major issues on PC. That patch dropped today.
Players also got something else today – a bit of a “we’re sorry” gift. As of now, players can claim a Guar-Lizard Calf pet from the game’s Crown Store for free. This is a limited-time offer available across all platforms. Those who want one of these scaly guys for their very own need to pick it up before the week is out.
