Echo Of Soul Officially Coming to Europe and US
Releasing in Korea last year, Echo of Soul is a free-to-play MMORPG that is probably most well known for its unique soul collection system for skill customization. Developed by some of team that worked on Lineage 2, Echo of Soul has had a bit of a following in Europe and the West already through the use of some translation tools.
Soon those tools won't be needed anymore as Aeria Games officially announced that Echo of Soul will have a European and American release in the spring of 2015.
"Since its launch in Korea last year, Echo of Soul has been one of the top MMORPGs, with gamers praising its rich gameplay and incredible content," said June Sung Kim, CEO of Nvius Corporation, the developers of EOS. "We are excited to be able to bring this vast world and its unique Soul system to Western players next year with the launch in North America, Germany, and France."
I've watched the trailer above a few times now and while I think the fidelity of the graphics may be a touch dated, I do rather like the art style. That, and if the music of the trailer is any indication of the music in game I think I'll be searching for an original soundtrack purchase shortly. My only concern, of course, is Aeria being the publisher as I sometimes find their monetization to be a bit skewed. I guess we'll have to see how it goes.
