Echo of Soul Closed Beta Starts May 4th, Founder's Packs Available
Aeria Games has announced that the closed beta for their upcoming Free to Play MMORPG, Echo of Soul, will start on May 4th. Of course, with this announcement, this means that Founder's Packs are now available. Founder's Packs for Echo of Soul range from $19.99 USD to $49.99 USD and include guaranteed closed beta access, name reservation rights, and a slew of in game items that vary based on the level you purchase.
Be sure to examine the packs closely before you pick which one (or ones in this case) you would like to buy. Some packs are companion focused, others are class focused (which means you better know what class you intend to play as you DO have to pick a class for the pack), and others are dungeon focused.
One thing I can tell you I do not like, personally, right away is the fact that an item called a Dungeon Ticket is in one of the packs. This tickets lets you run dungeons more frequently...which implies a normal limitation in the amount of dungeon diving you can do without these tickets. This is a huge turn off for me if it proves to be the case.
"We are very excited to offer these great Founder's Packs to MMO gamers who are ready to jump into Echo of Soul," says Tom Nichols, Vice President of PC Games at Aeria Games. "Our Founders will not only get guaranteed early access so they can get a chance to tackle the game before anyone else, but also exciting items, bonuses, and other perks."
If you registered for beta access on the game's site, you have a chance of gaining access to Echo of Soul already as they will be granting access to applicants on a rolling schedule throughout the closed beta test.
Check out the official stream with the Echo of Soul team tomorrow (April 24th) from 1-3 PM Eastern if you have questions about the game you'd like to have answered.
