Final Fantasy XIV Starlight Celebration 2024

It’s almost time to make a trip to Gridania for Final Fantasy XIV’s annual Starlight Celebration event. The event kicks off in the MMORPG a day before Patch 7.15, on Monday, December 16. While the patch on the following Tuesday will bring us a new custom delivery NPC, more Wachumeqimeqi quests, and the beginning of Hildibrand’s next adventures, the Starlight Celebration will bring us a few new goodies to add to our homes.

Specifically, the event promises five rewards, including a new Chocobo barding, a Starlight Celebration wall decoration, and a new orchestrion scroll. The two other rewards seem to be leaning into what appears to be the theme of this year’s celebration – at least if we take the image above as any indication. See that mug? Well, we’ll be getting a tower of empty ones as well as one with Starlight Kinderpunsch in it. The latter is a consumable item with up to ten uses. It’s safe to assume that some of these items can simply be bought from the event vendor, but we’ll have to wait to see which ones.

The Starlight Celebration will run for three weeks, ending on December 31, so be sure to get all your goodies before then.

On an additional note, if you’d like a purple version of the snowman mount, it’s now a thing. During the run of the Starlight Celebration, Square Enix is hosting a Twitch Support-A-Streamer campaign, offering players the new Snowstreamer mount and 50 aetheryte tickets for purchasing (or gifting) three Twitch subscriptions to eligible streamers.
