Earn Combat-Focused Rewards Via RuneScape’s New Combat Mastery Achievements
There are six tiers of achievements to earn, each offering rewards to improve the combat journey.
A new type of achievement has been introduced in RuneScape. These Combat Mastery Achievements have players challenging all the bosses in Gielinor in exchange for rewards that will help improve their combat journey in the MMORPG. The achievements come in six tiers ranging from Easy to Grandmaster and reward players with useful items like increased Marks of War and free attunements for War’s portals. Other rewards include Amulets and Auras.
To tackle these achievements, players can access them via the Hero menu’s achievement tab. There will be a new section for Combat Mastery where progress can be tracked. As mentioned, players take on various bosses. Achievements are tracked for each across three main categories: Kill Speed, Kill Count, and Mechanical. The last category is further split into Unorthodox and Perfect. If you’re wondering what that’s about, it’s pretty simple. Either complete the encounter in an unorthodox or a perfect way.
For each achievement, players receive points. The number of points is determined by the tier. An easy achievement will earn a single point for a task. As there are 19 easy tasks, players can earn a total of 19 points from them. On the other hand, there are 44 Grandmaster tasks, each worth 6 points, for a total of 264 points for the tier. Between all six tiers, players can accumulate 2066 points. Reaching specific thresholds will unlock War’s Blessing which contains passive rewards that will aid players in their progression.
