Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen - Q&A - Preparations for Season 2!

Yes, you read that headline correctly and no, this is not a drill.

After being in closed development for years now, having a bit of a controvercy regarding a "new direction" for testing quickly backtracked, launching a new "seasons" model for current pledges to test, and adding new content bit by bit, Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is officially ready to head into early access. Well, in a few months the MMORPG will be ready. December 2024 is the current window.

There will still be seasonal testing between now and then, so current pledges still have private testing to look forward to soon. If you'd like to pledge, you can still jump into the seasons between now and early access. We don't know the potential cost of early access, but we're sure we will get more info on that front soon. Existing pledges will get early access, well, access for free and get their pledge perks. If you want those perks, pledge now as they'll be unavailable once early access hits.

What we do know is that Pantheon's early access will include 6 playable races, 12 classes to choose from, 6 zones to explore, and the typical quests, danger, and loot one would expect.

This isn't full launch, mind you. This is just the next step in the MMO's development. “This is a huge step for Pantheon,” stated CEO Christopher Rowan. “The Testing Seasons phase has allowed us to gain incredible momentum and streamline our processes. We have an incredibly supportive community who made this immense progress possible. Now we want to get it out there for the rest of the world to enjoy while we continue adding the rest of the planned content and systems that we have scoped.”

Early access will be available from the Pantheon site and other distribution platforms, none of which are named as of yet.

Maybe NOW it's time to get a little excited?! I know I am, at least.
