E3 2018 -- Bethesda Reveals Elder Scrolls: Blades
In addition to what might be considered their bigger announcements, Bethesda Softworks surprised everyone with the announcement of an Elder Scrolls mobile game. Now, yes... Normally, we wouldn't be covering mobile games, but as it turns out the company already plans to bring this offering to other platforms as well.
Think Fallout Shelter on that front... only this game will be nothing like the cute Fallout title. No, Elder Scrolls: Blades will be a full-blown, console-quality first-person RPG. It's designed to have all the things console players love -- beautiful environments, magic, story, skills that can be upgraded, real-time battles, and so much junk to collect you'll probably be fighting the inventory for a while.
And, if that's not enough, the dev team even made the game playable in landscape mode, so -- as was explained during the conference -- you can play against your friends at home while you're sitting in a meeting at work and no one will know. Oh, and those friends at home? Well, they're already planning for the VR crowd.
If you're interested in getting to the game as soon as posslbe, pre-registration for mobile devices is going on now.
