Dynamight Studios Parts Way With Gamigo, Will Be Running Fractured Online Itself
The split is to address technical issues the game has been having.
After a short partnership with Gamigo, Fractured Online developer Dynamight Studios has decided to part ways and operate the MMORPG itself. The reasoning for this ties into issues that forced the game into closed development last year. As it turns out, the issues were due to technical problems with a third-party backend platform, and the developers have apparently been unable to resolve them while still with Gamigo.
Because of this, Dynamight has decided to go its own way and operate the game itself. Until everything is settled, the game will continue to be in closed development. Players will be given a chance to transfer their account data (back) to Dynamight Studios, and once that is complete the game will be brought back online for a limited test via the game’s site. Provided everything goes well, the game will be made available on Steam again – ideally without the need for more server wipes.
Imagine that, the partnership with gamigo didn't work out for Fractured. Who would have imaged that would be the case?
