Dungeons & Dragons Online Isn’t Playing Around When It Comes To The Year Of The Dragon Celebration
There’ll be new goodies every month to celebrate fifty years of the beloved roleplaying IP.
Not long ago the Dungeons & Dragons Online team announced that in honor of the Dungeon & Dragons IP turning 50 – and also because 2024 is the Lunar Year of the Dragon – they would be kicking off a year-long celebration. During the original announcement, they revealed that they would be giving out free gifts every month and dropped the MMORPG's 2024 development roadmap. They also provided a special coupon code to get free quest packs.
Today, the dev team has decided to share exactly what goodies players can expect each month – beginning this month with the Dragon Lord Archetype. Technically, players will be getting thirteen months of free goodies, as the calendar runs from February to February. Drops will take place every last Wednesday of the month and players will have until the next drop to claim the current one. The first drop, on February 28, will be part of an in-game celebration.
