Dungeons & Dragons Online Gives Everyone Access To Cormyr, Forever
The 64-bit game world will be a recommended world for new players.
Dungeons & Dragons Online has good news for players both new and old. If you know about the MMORPG’s 64-bit game world, Cormyr, on which the Lanterns in the Mists event recently took place. At that point, Standing Stone Games temporarily opened the world to everyone, but eventually closed it.
Now, the company has announced that they will be opening Cormyr to everyone again, granting access to all players. Not only that, they’re also making it the Recommended World for new players.
If you have already played on Cormyr, your character is still there. Unfortunately, you can’t transfer characters from another world to it at this time, but there are plans for allowing it, as well as transfers from Cormyr to other worlds, in the future. The technology just needs an update.
As for the players who pay for VIP access on Cormyr, they will receive a 5% VIP XP boost on top of the 10% they already have between April 30 and July 6. VIP players on Cormyr will also receive a daily Gold Daily Dice Roll.
