If you forgot about DreamWorld, the exploration/building game, you'd be forgiven. After a very rocky start to things, the team has been working somewhat quietly on additions and improvements. In fact, the only real "news" on the game was the team announcing they were shifting to a F2P model last November.

That doesn't mean that the team hasn't been silently dropping new videos here and there, including a recent video showcasing the game's updated volumetric selection and copy/paste tools as they rebuilt an Eiffel Tower during the Olympics, the updates have just been a bit more low key. I placed the Eiffel Tower video below as it is rather neat to watch.

Also kept low-key is testing and access. However, that last bit is about to change when DreamWorld starts a Steam public test on October 10th. If you ever wanted to check things out, you'll get the chance then by just clicking the "Request Access" button on their Steam page.

One of the newest features to check out will be the team's new "AI to text" asset creation tool. This tool was created via a partnership with Meshy and utilizes AI to basically make a 3D model of anything you type in. This by no means replaces the normal development pipeline for DreamWorld assets, but it will give you the ability to create that unicorn and rainbows table you've always wanted.

The tool gets a bit of a preview in the video below if you're curious.
