Dosa Awakening Live In Black Desert Online, And There's Some Folks That Want To Be Immortal You Need To Stop
You can peek at a jail, too, but you can't actually get there yet, that's for the hardcore servers.
It's awakening day! The Dosa Awakening class is now live in Black Desert Online and that means a new hybrid style of combat has released in the MMORPG. While we previewed the update late last week, now it's time to get your hands on the awakened class.
The Dosa Awakening class has some unique abilities that allow for quick gap closing. These abilities allow players to jump into melee range and back out to ranged with a speed new to the game. Most abilities will harken back to the 5 core elements from East Asian philosophies. Tapping into Fire, Water, Wood, Earth, and Metal, Dosa's Awakened form unleashes some serious power, but it can also utilize a number of buffs for teammates.
Both videos below showcase exactly how you can expect to use the new class. However, this isn't the only update added today. The full patch notes also detail the addition of Cadry Ruins where you'll need to put down some followers under the influence of Dehkia's Lantern. Yeah, they're all about becoming immortal and stuff...go put a stop to that.
We also get a new jail for hardcore servers. You can't actually access it yet, but it will be where dead characters duke it out when the hardcore server opens.
