Division 2's Season 11 Delayed Further As Team Finds Issue With The Game's Update System
Hard to add an update when the update system is broken!
Ubisoft just announced that the previously delayed launch of Season 11 for The Division 2 would be further delayed thanks to a brand new issue the team has been contending with for the last 96 hours. There's still no timeline on getting the shooter's season up and running, but the team expects to be able to give another update tomorrow.
Sadly, extending Season 10, which is what the team would normally do when a season is delayed, isn't an option given the current issue.
What's the issue, you ask?
Well, the game's Build Generation System is down. The team discovered an issue with it this past Saturday and since that system helps... well... push new builds into the game, no new build or alteration of any previous build (for example adding more time to Season 10) can actually be pushed into the game until the generation system issue is resolved.
The Division 2 team says they've made progress and restored critical components of the build generation system, but they'll update players with more information tomorrow.
