Digital Extremes Reveals A Bookish New Warframe In Its Latest Devstream
Dante adds a bit of classic MMO caster flare to the game.
Digital Extremes’ first Devstream of 2024 is in the bag. During the stream, the team announced Warframe’s first update of the year, “Dante Unbound”, and showcased what players can expect from it. The update will introduce the game’s 56th Warframe, Dante. Considered the “master of reality’s pages” this Warframe is inspired by classic MMO caster classes and brings his own Exalted Weapon – a grimoire named Noctua. The weapon attacks enemies with spectral pages and covers them in cursed paper cuts.
The update will also bring back the creative collaboration program TennoGen. Once again, Digital Extremes will be working with community creators to develop new purchasable cosmetic items. And yes, the artists will receive a share of the revenue.
As an additional note, DE also dropped a video for the music track used in the Gauss Prime launch trailer. Gauss: Redline is available to stream on YouTube and Bandcamp.
