Digital Extremes Is Celebrating 11 Years Of Warframe With Free Goodies And An Alienware Giveaway
Pick up your anniversary reward, earn rewards through Alerts, and get those obligatory Twitch Drops.
Another MMO birthday is being celebrated this month. This time, it’s the 11th anniversary of Digital Extremes’ Warframe. The anniversary celebration kicks off in-game on March 22 with a series of in-game Alerts that will last until May 17 and will reward players with skins, weapons, noggles, and more. Players can also earn extra Credits and Affinity during special booster weekends.
Of course, there’s an anniversary-specific reward to be had as well – the Dex Nikana. This can be obtained by logging into the game beginning March 27. A couple of days before that, on March 25, players will be able to collect three new Glyphs as Twitch Drops. These will roll out over three weeks. Players need to connect their Warframe and Twitch accounts to receive them.
Finally, there’s a big real-world prize to be had as well. One lucky person will win a Warframe-themed Alienware Aurora R16 desktop PC. This is one of those “do a lot of random things on the socials to earn entries" giveaways, but they seem less invasive than a lot of other giveaways.
For the most part, players need to visit Warframe’s channels or go look at the PC in question on the Alienware page. There is one task of downloading the app, but it only applies to iOS device users.
