Diablo meets League of Legends?
Wardens Rising, an upcoming PvE hero shooter, has been announced. Developed by Big Moxi Games, the action-packed multiplayer base defense shooter combines hero-focused gameplay and hero-shooter mechanics and special abilities.
In the game, players engage in base defense scenarios utilizing the unique abilities of their chosen Warden character and customizable gear builds to protect the core from invading enemies. Wardens Rising offers both a solo campaign mode and a multiplayer cooperative mission mode, accommodating up to four players. There’s five different heroes, each with their own stats and abilities, along with six SPEC companions that provide unique buffs, attacks, and stats.
The gameplay involves deploying and upgrading defense towers across more than 30 maps. Also, there’s 20 upgradable tactical items. Best of all though, the game will support both controller and mouse/keyboard. Wardens Rising will be featured at Gamescom 2023, with hands-on gameplay and developer interviews. The game is slated for release in 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
You can find more info on the game's Steam page.
