"The Signal" Wants To "Move The Genre Forward" For Fans Of Crafting/Survival Multiplayer Games
Developer Goose Byte Offers First Look At The Signal, Their Debut Game
It’s been right around two years since Canadian studio Goose Bye was founded, and now they’re ready to introduce players to their debut project. Titled ‘The Signal’, the company’s first game is a “third-person multiplayer Open World Survival Craft game with a key focus on pushing player creativity over violence”. As the company puts it, this is their way of “moving the genre forward”.
The game is being developed in Unreal Engine 5 for both console and PC and is built around exploration, invention, and survival. Goose Byte has been built with a focus on user-generated crafting content and features a recipe-sharing system. There is also a focus on the sustainable stewardship of the alien planet the game is set on. Players will be able to explore the game alone or with fifteen other friends on player-hosted dedicated servers.
The Signal isn’t available to play yet, but players can find out more about it via its Steam page.
