Destiny 2 Will Soon Be Completely Free On Stadia Without Pro
Destiny 2 may have been available on Google's Stadia platform for the past year, but there's been a bit of a catch. Those who wanted to play it either needed to pay for Stadia Pro to play the game for "free" or buy one of the campaign extensions to avoid having to pay for Pro. But, that's about to change.
According to latest This Week on Stadia post, Destiny 2 will be made available free to everyone -- Pro or not, allowing everyone free access to the core game. Of course, those who want to be able to play recent expansions are still going to have to throw some cash in for that.
For those that are already subscribed to Stadia Pro, the post reminds players to go ahead and grab Destiny 2: The Collection which includes Forsaken and Shadowkeep. If you do that before the 19th, it will remain part of your library so long as you're subscribed. And, hey, if you're paying for Pro, you might as well get all the free content you can.
