Destiny 2's Root of Nightmares Raid Completed By One Player In World's First Solo Clear
“TheSnazzzyRock” took down Nezarec, "Final God of Pain," all by himself.
On February 28, the Lightfall expansion hit Destiny 2. With it came the Root of Nightmares raid, which most definitely requires a full fireteam of six players and top-tier teamwork. And even then, it is not a cakewalk. Well, the other day, some crazy fella solo’ed the raid — taking down the final boss Nezarec all on his own.
“TheSnazzzyRock” accomplished this incredible feat in the shooter in 11 minutes and 37 seconds, capturing the magic of the entire battle in a YouTube video titled “Worlds First Solo Nezarec, Final God of Pain” that was uploaded yesterday. He played as a Warlock, using weapons like the Eriena’s Vow and equipment like the Sunbracer Gauntlets for his brilliant strategy that utilized quickly switching loadouts for maximum damage output. It even came down to the wire, with Snazzzy having just five rounds of ammo left.
This is what he does though. Previously, Snazzzy completed the Gatekeepers' encounter in the Vault of Glass raid and finished the Caretaker battle in the Vow of the Disciple raid — both solo as well. Check out the master at work below.
