Destiny 2 Players Raise Questions About New Microtransaction
Destiny 2 players are a bit put off by the new store items that have been added in the Eververse -- or rather, the ratio of microtransaction items vs rewards. According to a post on Reddit, players can only earn two new items by playing the game: the SMG and the Apline Dash sparrow. However, over 20 items are apparently available for purchase on the store.
The post goes on to note that while the items can be purchased with bright dust, which is earned in the game, the amount of time it would take to earn the dust is more than they feel worth putting in.
Based on the thread, it seems other players feel the same way about the new system. Some add to the list of complaints with the fact that the two items that do drop in-game have rather low drop rates. It will be interesting to see if Bungie listens to these complaints or simply ignores them.
