Destiny 2’s Heresy Arrives Today, But Expect Some Characters To Be Silent
The final episode of the year of The Final Shape has arrived.
The Final Shape comes to a conclusion today with the release of its final episode, Heresy, in Destiny 2. The update introduces new story content and new weapons – as well as some returning ones. It also introduces the new Aspects subclass, under the guidance of an Echo, and 25 artifact mods.
A new three-player activity has been introduced to the shooter as well. In “The Nether”, players must stop Taken from invading the planets and moons of the Sol system. To do this, they’ll have to board the Dreadnaught. The activity features randomized patrol zones, encounters, and objectives. Completing the activity will earn players the boons needed to modify abilities and weapons.
Unfortunately, there is something missing from this update. Like many games pushing updates currently, Destiny 2 is being impacted by the SAG-AFTRA video game voice actor strike. This means that some voice lines are missing. To ensure players don’t miss out on anything, subtitles will be enabled by default. Players will be able to modify their subtitles via their gameplay settings.
