Destiny 2 Is Getting New Maps On May 7th, But Ending Older OS Support In June
New maps incoming next week.
It's time for your weekly roundup of everything Destiny 2.
The next update hits servers on May 7th, and with it comes three new PvP maps. Cirrus Plaza, Eventide Labs, and Dissonance are all being added to the shooter in this update. With the arrival of these maps comes a separate 3v3 playlist called "New Territory". The playlist will replace the 3v3 Quickplay node and feature the three new maps in the Survival, Elimination, Clash, and Collison game modes.
Check out our article from earlier this week that covers the new Pantheon Boss Rush and the sweet IRL rewards you can grab for yourself upon completing the challenge. You can find a complete breakdown of each boss over on the official Destiny 2 site.
For those of you running older operating systems, on June 4, 2024, Destiny 2 will be ending support for Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1. Steam and Microsoft will also be ending support of those operating systems on the same date, so if you're still gaming on an outdated OS it is definitely time to upgrade.
