Destiny 2 Game Director Tries To Make Up For Bad "State Of The Game" Address In New Video
Bungies is focusing on more PvP content going forward.
Destiny 2 received a lot of flak for its recent State of the Game post which, among other things, stated that the team simply didn't have the capacity to produce more than one PvP map per year. Destiny 2 employs hundreds of developers, so as you might imagine, that statement did not fly with the shooter's player community.
Game Director Joe Blackburn took to the site formerly known as Twitter yesterday to address the problems with the State of the Game post, and made some big promises going forward. Among them is the promise of a PvP strike team whose job will be to generate more PvP content going forward.
Blackburn also admitted that the State of the Game blog should not have been released in its current state, and puts the blame for that on himself.
The video is about 16 minutes long, but it's well worth the watch for players of Destiny 2, especially those disgruntled by the recent State of the Game blog. There are some candid moments and promises made that should help alleviate some of the frustration players are feeling.
