Delta Force Releases On Mobile And PC Gets A New "Darker" Season With A MGS-like Trailer
Betrayal, mind-altering tech, and stealth action. Yep, it's all there.
Delta Force brings their F2P shooter to mobile devices today allowing PC players to take their progression on the go. The mobile version sports a 24v24 warfare mode, a special extraction mode, quests, and the ability to take the fight to your foes in land, air, and sea vehicles. Yes, cross-progression with PC is also supported.
Speaking of PC, players on the platform aren't being left out in the cold today as a new season drops. Season Eclipse Vigil introduces a new operator named Nox. The trailer below gives you not only an intro to the Nox, but it also teases a PC-only feature that this season adds: Operation Blackout. This is the game's first mode that takes place at night. You'll be able to use the cover of darkness to be a bit sneaky, but obviously it does make some things harder to see.
Rounding out the feature list, Delta Force has finally added a Kill Cam so you'll know where that fatal shot came from, an upgrade to the game's overall sound design and audio layering, global leaderboards, and, of course, new weapons, gadgets, and cars.
Google's got a bit of a bonus if you decide to shell out a little cash on the title and you can see the particulars on the official site after you watch the trailer below. I love that it kind of has a Metal Gear Solid vibe going on. Let me know if the game's story is actually worth it. The trailer makes me want to play, but I'm still on the fence.
