Delays Suck, So Path Of Exile Is Going To Add Some "Whacky" Content To Help Tide You Over Until 3.26
It's a chance to experiment a bit, too.
Last week wasn't a great week for players of the original Path of Exile. When Grinding Gear Games announced that they had to delay the new 3.26 patch because of the team being pulled to work on the ARPG's sequel, many were understandably upset.
To hopefully start things off in a little better fashion this week, GGG has announced that they're going to try to add in a few "whacky" (their word) ideas to experiment with in the meantime.
What exactly does that mean or when will you see it? Those details are forthcoming.
What we know right now is that the team thinks it may be fun to mess around with a few things that maybe made it to the "brainstorm" board but no further than that. In the official post, the team gives examples like "What does Path of Exile 1 look like when you get to play a Witch and ascend to become a Harbinger?" or possibly replacing all nineteen ascendancy classes with nineteen new ones.
It should be a bit interesting and maybe serve as a nice distraction while the team works on the PoE 2 0.2 update.
