Declassified: New Aura Kingdom trailer teases character classes
Aeria Games has released a new trailer which spotlights eight of the MMO's classes. The classes seem to be your standard run-of-the-mill archetypes, ranging from the tank oriented Guardian to the supportive Bard.
Interestingly, mages have been broken up into two separate classes, the shadow magic Sorcerer and the elemental Wizard. A final range class has yet to be announced, but perhaps it could be the MMO's only pet class. Since classes are tied to weapon types, upon reaching level 40, players can opt to choose a secondary weapon. By doing so players can learn other class's skills. According to Aeria, weapon skills from separate classes can then be comboed together to open up access to a wider range of unique abilities.
Players may choose to further modify their abilities through Ultimate Skills which can modify a character's existing abilities to add utility such as a stun or a damage over time effect. Beta signups are currently open on the official site.

Only a month to go before New World fans get new content, well, kind of.
The Xbox version is still outstanding, though.
The event makes sense, as much as holiday events do, but I'm not sure about other things.
Now we have to see what fruits contract negotiations bear.
