Deceive Inc. is getting into the holiday spirit.
The Holiday Rumble Update introduces a festive spirit with the first-ever live event, offering 10 free rewards, a holiday-themed lobby, and map decorations. Players can unlock rewards by finding gifts scattered across the map during the stealth shooter's Holiday Rumble event, with the chance to obtain the coveted Santhans skin. The Silver Reef map undergoes an overhaul too, transforming the vault area with a focus on improved flow — adding verticality and flank routes. Additionally, a restroom is introduced, and an alternate exit is provided for Vault terminal C to enhance gameplay.
This update includes a Spectating UI Overhaul as well, offering detailed information about the player being spectated, including cooldowns, lootables, and ally health in team modes. The Gamepad “look rotation” is also improved for a smoother experience, plus there's an overhaul in Guard Aggro — providing better handling in situations involving multiple spies. NPC behavior tweaks, balance changes to various agents and gadgets, and bug fixes were implemented as well.
Notable balance adjustments include changes to Ace, Cavalière, Chavez, Squire, Larcin, and Octo, aiming to reduce the shots required to down rival spies while maintaining engaging gunplay. And gadgets like Bounce Mat and Shield-brella see adjustments to address their all-encompassing flexibility.
