Deceit 2 Is Going Free-To-Play In 2024 And Promising Big Game Improvements
A new DLC is on the way as well.
2024 looks to be a big one for Deceit 2, as they announced today plans to go free-to-play on Steam in the first quarter of 2024. Anyone who purchases the game between now and the Deceit 2 free-to-play launch will receive the next upcoming DLC for free, as well as in-game currency to match the amount of the cost of the game. F2P players will be able to purchase the upcoming DLC later this year when it goes live.
On January 30th, the game will be unveiling its 2024 roadmap. Until then, the devs have their heads down making some major improvements to the game. Some of the things that will be covered in the roadmap will be more content, a faster and smoother gameplay experience, a more immersive atmosphere, improved visuals of human character heads and animations, new in-game rewards, a rebalance of all items and mutations, as well as more optimization.
There was an update today as well, with plenty of bug fixes. You can check out the full patch notes over on the Deceit 2 Steam page.
