Dead By Daylight Is Now Officially A "Cross Progression" Game
There are a few things you should know about before clicking that magic button, though.
It's certainly been a long time coming, but today finally sees Dead By Daylight join the ranks of games that include cross platform progression. Whether you're playing on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, or the Nintendo Switch, as long as you have linked/synced your accounts on your Behaviour account, you're all set.
The only real caveat here is on the Nintendo Switch. While you can share your inventory and progression in the game with your Switch account, you cannot share any paid currency or DLC you may have on other platforms. No other platforms have these restrictions, as the above image shows.
Below is a "step-by-step" video on how to get it all set up if you need a little help.
There are a few notes you should read over in the official FAQ before you get started, though. For instance, if you have played on multiple platforms before, linking you accounts will only keep the highest level account. Obviously, if you have multiple account on the same platform (say 2 Steam accounts, maybe), you'll only be able to link one of them to your console IDs. And no, you won't be getting any refunds if you happen to have purchased a DLC on multiple platforms.
This syncing process cannot be undone, so make sure it's really want you want before clicking that button.
