Dead By Daylight Launches On Epic Games And You Can Grab It For Free
Grab logic puzzler "While True: Learn()" while you're there.
Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve done an Epic Games freebie post – ever since we switched from just F2P to all multiplayer. That would be because not all EGS freebies are multiplayer, so you get what you get, but this week, we seem to have scored as Behavior Interactive's Dead by Daylight joins the store’s lineup.
I’m pretty sure that most of you know what Dead by Daylight is by now, but if you’ve somehow missed it, it’s a 4 vs 1 horror game in which one lucky person gets to be the killer and everyone else just tries to avoid getting caught and make it out alive. There are advantages and disadvantages to being either and gameplay can differ depending on if survivors opt to work together or go at it in an "everyone for themselves" kind of way.
Generally, the base Dead by Daylight game runs $20, but from now until December 9, it’s available for free on the EGS. Of course, there are various editions – and Ultimate and a Silent Hill edition. The prices aren’t listed for these on the EGS, but on Steam, they’re $80 and $61, respectively, so maybe just assume you’d be throwing down that much. (Although they’re on sale on Steam right now anyway.)
