Dead By Daylight’s Hellraiser Update Is Live, Pinhead And All
The new update adds Pinhead as a playable characters, and special DLC.
I know y’all have been waiting on this. I’ve seen your tweets. So, excellent news. You can stop waiting, Pinhead has arrived in Dead by Daylight’s 5.2.0 patch. This “Hellraiser” Update introduces the well-known Cenobite as a new playable character. If you had a chance to try him out on the PTB, there have been changes to improve the experience – which can all be read about in the latest patch notes.
The update also includes special Hellraiser DLC content, already available in the game’s store.
In addition, the skill-based matchmaking system is now live in the game and should offer players a better overall experience when being paired with other players. It’s worth noting that the Killer a player chooses to play will impact the system as they each have a separate rating. So, choose one that’s at a level you’re comfortable with.
The addition of skill-based matchmaking also means changes in the ranks system. Ranks are now Grades, with all new icons. Grades are increased in the same way that ranks were, with one exception. There is now a limit to how many pips players can lose.
