Dead By Daylight Halloween

It’s October, and that means one thing. You can now start the Halloween celebratory activities and no one can complain about it. And who better to unabashedly celebrate spooky season than Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight team. Scary is what they do, after all.

Once again, players of the horror game will take part in the seasonal event, Haunted by Daylight. The event will run for a bit under a month – from October 17 to November 7 – bringing back The Void with even more portals with which to access it. Just keep in mind that once opened the void portals can’t be closed. Also, they will require players to collect Void Energy to be opened at all. Although, that same energy can be used to create role-specific Void Items to be used in Trials.

In addition to the Halloween event, Dead by Daylight’s Castlevania crossover is continuing with Tome 21: Dominus which will offer more story content, outfits, and rewards. The new content will focus on Trevor Belmont and Dracula’s histories as they try to recruit Alucard. As for the rewards, every single item players earn in Dominus will be Castlevania-themed or gothic horror-inspired.

In other DbD news, 2v8 is coming back in November. It will last for ten days, from November 12 to November 26. The mode has been adjusted based on player feedback and the devs are ready to see how they feel about it. These changes include the addition of more killer classes, bringing the total to four: Shadow, Brute, Enforcer, and Fearmonger, as well as new maps and other updates.
