DDO's Magic Of Myth Drannor Expansion Adds Iconic Locales, New Playable Eladrin Race, And Pre-Orders Are Live
The expansion comes in three different bundles starting at $39.99.
This summer has been, and will continue to be, a very busy time for expansions in all of our favorite MMORPGs. FFXIV and World of Warcraft are each getting an expansion soon, Guild Wars 2 just announced theirs coming in August, The Elder Scrolls Online just added Gold Road, and more.
Now Dungeons & Dragons Online, DDO, wants to get in on the expansion fun and will be dropping their new Magic of Myth Drannor expansion on July 31st. Pre-orders for the new content just went live today and there's 3 bundles for you to choose from starting at $39.99. Obviously the more expensive packages offer bonuses including cosmetic outfits, hirelings, pets, mounts, and more.
Magic of Myth Drannor takes DDO players to the crumbling ruins of Myth Drannor to help the elves rebuild this iconic capital. You'll also pick up a new playable race, the Eladrin (available in all three pre-order bundles), and the Wild Mage archetype (only available in the $79.99 or $129.99 bundles). You'll also have to take the fight to a badass necromancer's legions in new CR 13 Heroic and CR 25 Legendary quests.
All the features are teased in the trailer below.
