DCUO Turns 10, Offers New Raid, Open World Content, Rewards, And Freebies
DC Universe Online turns 10 years old this month, and Dimensional Ink Games is rolling out the red-as-Superman's-cape carpet for an anniversary event, starting today. The Anti-Monitor is once again causing problems and it's up to the heroes and villains of the world to put him in his place, in the new event raid and elite raid, Speed Force Flux.
Out in the open world, players can find new missions in the Metropolis Anti-Matter Invasion Zone and earn special 10th Anniversary rewards. These include new styles inspired by The Flash and Professor Zoom, new Boss Triumph Statues, and more. Naturally, old anniversary content is also available, such as the Centennial Collapse, and the cost of older rewards has been reduced. For more on 10th Anniversary celebration events, check out the DCUO site.
For simply logging in before January 31, you'll receive a free Character Advance to CR290 and a gear suit with the new Restored Shim'Tar Regalia style, as well as other gifts. Members receive an additional gift box with more loot, as well as an additional 10% off (from 10% to 20%) in the marketplace. Learn more about all that's included in that package here.
