DCUO Continues The Metal Saga With Its Latest Update
It's been a while since Episode 35: Metal Part I released in DC Universe Online, bringing the Dark Knights and the Justice League together to locate a rare metal in the ongoing war between the Multiverse and the Darkness. Today, the saga continues, with Episode 36: Metal Part II. The new update adds new events, characters, and more to the superhero game.
Not only does the new episode continue what began in Episode 35, but it also closes it out, bringing everything to a climax as Thanagar threatens to destroy the Earth with the Phoenix Cannon and Barbatos pulls the world into the Dark Multiverse. (Effectively, everyone's out to get Earth, as per usual.)
This is a large-scale episode with event versions available to all players. It includes single and multiplayer adventures that offer players new rewards in the form of gear inspired by Hawkman and The Dawnbreaker, as well as other items.
