DC Universe Online's Holiday Event "Season's Greedings" Returns This Year
Players must recover stolen gifts from that rascal Larfleeze.
Season's Greedings!
The holidays have commenced in DC Universe Online, featuring an event that sees the return of the mischievous Larfleeze. Players must embark on a mission to recover stolen gifts in both Metropolis and Gotham City to thwart his plans. The event introduces two missions: "Yuletide Fear" for villains and "Winter Plunderland" for heroes, accessible through the MMORPG's Mission Journal or the Warp Menu.
In addition to the primary missions, players can explore new feats such as "The Iceman Cometh," "From the Land of Ice and Snow," and "Eat the House and Home." These feats tie into the overarching storyline involving Larfleeze taking advantage of the conflict between the Green Lanterns and the Sinestro Corps. Completing the missions "Yuletide Fear" or "Winter Plunderland" and "Season’s Greedings" is a prerequisite for unlocking the "Ring in the Holidays" Daily Mission.
Also, throughout the event players can engage in daily missions, earning Holly Leaves by completing "Season’s Greedings" and "Ring in the Holidays" tasks. The Green and Yellow Lantern gifts offer winter clothing, holiday items, and festive base items for players to acquire.
And there’s more, in case you missed it. Throughout the month, players can earn stuff just by logging in via "Doctor Fate's December Rewards" — featuring new styles as well as Fate and Destiny currencies. For dedicated players logging in at least 21 days throughout the month, there's an exclusive reward in the form of the "Devastating Visage" style (available for members only).
