Dazzle The Swoop Gangs In SWTOR's All World Swoop Races, Coming Next Week
The All Worlds Swoop Race is just about ready to come to Star Wars: The Old Republic. As we mentioned when they came to the public test server last month, the races will be put on by rival gangs on three planets -- Dantooine, Tatooine, and Onderon -- each with their own preferences, whether it be speed, tight maneuvering, or explosions. And really, who doesn't love explosions?
Each gang has a repeatable daily mission and there are ongoing story missions to unlock as you progress through the gangs' reputation tracks. These include interludes that give you insights into the gangs and their history, like how Nailz is overcompensating with a powerful engine on his bike because his father never showed him the love he craved as a child. Fine, I just made that up, but I could totally see it happening.
In addition to those story beats -- real or imagined -- you'll also receive more tangible rewards in the form of Swoop Rally Mounts (regular and gold versions), Swoop Gang Outfits, Promotion Droid Mini-pets, and various titles. The All Worlds Swoop Race comes to SWTOR on June 24 with Update 6.1.2, and you can get more details about it on the SWTOR site.
