Days After Announcing The DLC Would Be Delayed Again, The Division 2 Teases "Battle For Brooklyn"
Year 6 Season 3 is headed to the PTR tomorrow.
Just two days ago, The Division 2 announced that their previously delayed DLC would be delayed yet again. This time the looter-shooter's delay would be backing the DLC clear out of the currently running Year 6 content. Seeing as Year 6 won't end until about June, this meant that the DLC wouldn't be out until at minimum the second half of 2025.
I guess to throw the community a bone, Ubisoft dropped a tease for the DLC which includes the content's name.
"Battle for Brooklyn" looks to be sending us back to New York and the tweet does confirm "this year" as the release window. While I certainly hope it makes it by then, I wouldn't hold my breath just in case. This DLC was revealed back in 2023 so more delays could certainly be a thing...particularly given the issues at Ubisoft right now.
On the current game front, Year 6 Season 3 comes to The Division 2's public test realms tomorrow, January 31st. The new season brings the Momentum modifier gained by taking out enemies as quickly as possible. The higher your momentum, the greater your rewards.
Other modifiers and new exotic rewards are added, too. The full patch notes are up if you plan to test the season's content out.
