Dauntless Heads Into Open Beta May 24
It's nearly time for everyone to take to the Shattered Isles and hunt some Behemoths! After four years of development and a closed beta that drew over 100,000 players, Phoenix Labs has announced that its free-to-play monster-hunting extravaganza Dauntless will be going into worldwide open beta on May 24.
Though originally scheduled for open beta in fall of 2017, Dauntless has certainly needed the additional time to bake. Phoenix Labs has taken a lot of player feedback into account, from reworking weapons to improving exploration to removing loot boxes. Open beta will also mark the end of the Founder's Program, so if you want a Founder's Pack, you'll need to pick one up before closed beta ends.
If you haven't had a chance to try Dauntless yet in its closed beta form, do you think you'll check it out once it goes into open beta?
