Dauntless Celebrates The Season With A Haunted Hunt Pass
Today's the last day for developers to get in their Halloween-related content and not look foolish, and Phoenix Games is sliding in right under the wire with the Haunted Shadows Hunt Pass for Dauntless, which was announced today alongside a new update for the game.
Highlights of the update include: a new Bounty Card, replacing the "Friends Indeed" quest; a complete rework of the in-game compass; a three-minute AFK timer on island; better info on Behemoth power and resistance levels in the lobby UI; and a number of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements, including quite a few optimization tweaks to reduce CPU usage.
As for the Hunt Pass itself, players who purchase it can earn a full set of cosmetic armor, the "Ghost of a Dog" emote and more. While the pass will keep you busy until Dec. 12, the in-game Dark Harvest event only runs until Nov. 5, so you'll need to hop in soon if you want to properly get into the spooky spirit.
