Darkpaw Games Introduces EverQuest II’s Next Expansion, Renewal Of Ro
The announcement was part of the latest Producer’s Letter.
Yesterday, Darkpaw’s Head of Studio Jenn Chan posted the September EverQuest II Producer’s Letter. The letter covered the progress of the game over the last year addressing the things that have been completed like the 64-bit servers as well as what’s to come over the next three months. The big news there is the game’s next expansion – which should launch in December. The Producer’s Letter revealed this new expansion to be Renewal of Ro. This will be the game’s 19th expansion and will add new zones, quests, and adventures to the game.
Prior to the expansion’s launch, players can expect to be able to beta test and pre-order it in October. Then it’s just a matter of waiting until December for the launch. At present, that’s all we know, but that’s not all there is to look forward to. In November, Darkpaw will be celebrating EverQuest II’s 18th anniversary with the Heroes’ Festival and taking part in Extra Life to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network. At some undetermined point in time, the studio will also be opening up a swag store, so people who want goodies will be able to get them.
