Cyanide releases closed beta details for Dogs Of War
In March developer Cyanide gave everyone a peak at the studio's first free-to-play game, Dogs of War. The turn-based strategy will utilize mechanics similar to those found in tabletop wargames. Players create a custom army with units that can be upgraded by equipping items, but a player's own leadership qualities will also effect his troops in battle. Strong leadership leads to increased player winnings while being a poor commander can lead to unrest among the ranks and can lead to unit desertion.
Today Cyanide revealed the official Dogs of War website and released info concerning the game's upcoming Closed Beta. The official website already has some Dogs of War content available, including unit descriptions and details regarding the game's three factions.
The Closed Beta for Dogs of War is scheduled for late September of this year, with the exact date TBA. If you want to check out more info or to sign up for the beta when it goes live, check out the Dogs of War facebook here or the official website here.
