Cutesy Battle Royale Stumble Guys Introduces First Competitive 4v4 Map
The developer celebrates the game’s 1st anniversary and status as “one of the most played F2P console games launched in 2024”.
Today, Stumble Guys developer Scopley introduced a new competitive 4v4 map for the PC and mobile versions of the battle royale. The game’s first 4v4 mode, “Rocket Doom,” requires players to work together to capture flags and earn points. Of course – as you might guess from the mode’s name, there’s some rocket-related action involved, with players using rockets to blast their enemies or jump across the map. The mode is also designed to appeal to both casual and hardcore players.
In console news, it’s been a year since the game first launched on Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch. In that time it’s become one of the most-played free-to-play console games that launched last year. In that year, the developer introduced features like split-screen local multiplayer, cross-platform play, and perks via the console’s respective stores. Of course, players can look forward to more content in the coming year.
