Crytek Introduces "Bounty Clash", A New, Experimental Game Mode In Hunt: Showdown
The update also kicks off the game’s Halloween event ‘Harvest of Ghosts’.
A new update is available for Crytek’s extraction shooter Hunt: Showdown, and it’s brought with it an experimental mode titled ‘Bounty Clash’. This mode spawns players in a random compound with a dead Boss Target in need of banishing. There is a reward for doing this, but it won’t be easy to get as multiple groups will be going for the same target and there is only one Bounty Token to be had. Be prepared to fight, and be prepared to be quick about it. You only have 15 minutes to beat the other teams and banish the boss. The mode is available starting today, but will cycle in and out of the game going forward.
In addition to the new mode, the update also kicked off the ‘Harvest of Ghosts’ Halloween event. This event will change things up for players, adding pact traits that will require players to adjust how they fight. It also adds new weapons and variants as well as a Dark Dynamite Satchel that can be detonated remotely. Of course, there are rewards to be had.
