CRSED: F.O.A.D.'s Rock Solid Update Adds New Geologist Champion And A Hunting Ghost Ability
CRSED: F.O.A.D., which is still the weirdest title for a game that we cover, has a new update, and it's off to a rocky start. No, there aren't any particular problems -- that's just the theme of it.
The "Rock Solid" update adds a new champion, the "ecologist and geologist Katrina Matadi with rock control powers," which doesn't mean that she can turn your volume up to 11. Rather, she can create a stone shield around herself, which she can scatter to push back players and projectiles. Oh, and she used to work for an "evil corporation" that used child labor and her way of fighting back against its corruption apparently is to engage in a deadly battle royale. Sure, makes sense.
It wouldn't be a CRSED: F.O.A.D. update without additional wackiness, however, and that comes in the form of the Reaper, an ability that summons a ghost that tracks down -- even through walls -- any living thing that gets in its way. There's also a new, though less absurd, Sonar ability that lets you detect other players via a series of pings, which can also let them hone in on your location.
Oh, and you can now ride champion Clyde Mullican if he's your teammate. Because why not?
