CRSED: F.O.A.D.’s New Airborne Assault Force Mode Starts Everyone Off In A Flying Car
Don’t worry, you’ll be wearing your jetpack too.
It looks like CRSED: F.O.A.D. is having a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang moment. For those unfamiliar, that’s an old Dick Van Dyke movie with a flying car in it that Tubi’s autoplay decided I really needed to see a couple of weeks ago. While a battle royale is probably a bit more violent than the movie, it may not be any less silly.
Case in point, today, Darkflow announced that the game’s new “Airborne Assault Force” mode starts all players out in flying cars. This doesn’t mean all combat will take place in flying cars. You’re supposed to jump out of them at some point. If you’re worried about falling to your death, don’t be. You’ll still have your jetpack to keep you airborne as you decide how quickly you’d like to reach the ground. Once there, you’ll need to decide whether to go for the attack or go loot hunting instead.
The new mode can be found in the main mode selection menu.
